This election cycle has seen engagement like none other. This year Mikva Challenge – Enrolled 2,205 youth as student judges during the spring primaries. Sent 220 youth from across the country to the Iowa Caucus where they gained first-hand experience in campaigning, held their own youth caucus around issues most important to them and their generation, and attended candidate forums. Provided over 400 educators nationwide with professional development that brings elections to life for their students by centering the study of elections around the students’ exploration of their own issues, opinions, and finding their own unique ways to get their voice heard in our electoral process. Engaged directly with over 1,240 students through youth voting squads, national youth election forums, youth councils, and the Great Electoral Race.
