During James’ involvement in Mikva Challenge, he found his voice, developed his confidence, and realized that he had the agency to make change in his community. Fast forward almost 15 years...now, James works at Mikva and leads the development of after school programming for 12-15 year olds in the North Lawndale, Gage Park, and New City communities. Under his leadership, he and his team are inspiring the next generation to believe in themselves and to make a difference as his teacher Jill taught him. |
