This year, Mikva Challenge is hosting our Project Soapbox program virtually, including a live interactive event on December 10 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm CST. At this public showcase, youth from classrooms across Chicago will share powerful and inspirational speeches with dynamic visions to improve our city and neighborhoods. Join to hear their courageous and creative calls to action, while championing youth voice and leadership.

If you are unable to attend, Project Soapbox speeches will be live-streamed and housed on Mikva Challenge’s Facebook page. We also encourage you to watch and engage with powerful videos of students and share your support in the comments.

At Mikva Challenge, it is our mission to honor the speakers’ truth and make sure this experience of making their voice heard on community issues is the beginning of a lifetime of civic engagement!
