At Mikva Challenge, we know that it only takes one — one teacher, one mentor, one caring adult to bring out The Power Of One! With your support, Mikva Challenge provides youth the knowledge and agency to make change in the communities where they live and learn. Mikva Challenge’s Neighborhood Leadership Initiative Program (NLI) is an afterschool program for 12-15 year olds in the North Lawndale, Gage Park, and New City communities. This initiative, led by Mikva alum James Fields and his team, inspires the next generation of leaders and encourages them to believe in the power of their voices. |
